1. Accepting these Terms

By creating or using a Gladen account, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Gladen.

If applicable law requires a parent or guardian to consent to your use of Gladen, you may use the service only with that consent.

2. What Gladen provides

Gladen is a personal padel record service. It lets you save and review sessions, track statistics and activity, and import session details from supported result links or screenshots. Screenshot text recognition runs on your device, and you review the details before saving.

Gladen is not an official scoring authority, tournament organizer, ranking body, or provider of the third-party result platforms it can import from. Statistics and imported information are provided for personal recordkeeping and may contain errors.

3. Your account

You sign in using supported third-party authentication providers such as Google or Apple. You are responsible for maintaining control of the provider account and device you use to access Gladen.

Do not share authentication tokens, sign-in codes, or other credentials. Tell Gladen support if you believe your Gladen account is being used without authorization.

4. Information you save

You are responsible for reviewing session details before saving them and for using Gladen in a way that respects other people's rights. A saved session can contain names or result information about teammates, opponents, or other participants.

Do not use Gladen to store unlawful, abusive, misleading, infringing, or unnecessarily sensitive information about another person. Do not submit content you do not have the right to use.

You keep ownership of information that is yours. You give Gladen permission to process, store, reproduce, and transform information you submit only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, and support the service and to provide the features you request.

5. Imports and third-party services

Gladen can retrieve information from supported third-party result pages at your request. Those services are independent from Gladen and have their own terms, availability, and privacy practices. Gladen is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in partnership with those result platforms unless Gladen explicitly says otherwise.

You are responsible for using imports lawfully and consistently with any rules that apply to the source. Gladen may change, limit, or stop supporting an import source when its format, availability, permissions, or technical behavior changes.

Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple, Supabase, Google AdMob advertising, and other infrastructure used by Gladen are also subject to the applicable provider terms. Ads can be shown while you use the service; their availability and content are provided through the advertising service rather than selected or guaranteed by Gladen.

6. Acceptable use

You must not:

• Use Gladen for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful activity.
• Attempt to access another person's account or private record without authorization.
• Interfere with, overload, probe, reverse engineer, or bypass security of the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.
• Use automated means to scrape or extract Gladen data in a way that harms the service or other users.
• Upload or submit malicious code or intentionally false information designed to disrupt Gladen.
• Use Gladen in a way that infringes another person's privacy, intellectual property, or other rights.

7. Service availability and changes

Gladen is evolving. Features, supported import sources, interfaces, and technical requirements can change. Gladen may temporarily interrupt the service for maintenance, security, provider outages, or other operational reasons.

Gladen will make reasonable efforts to preserve your saved record, but the service is not guaranteed to be uninterrupted, error-free, or permanently available in its current form. Keep any independent records you consider essential.

8. Account restriction and termination

Gladen may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, or third parties; investigate suspected abuse; comply with law; or address a material violation of these Terms. Where appropriate, Gladen will try to provide notice or a way to contact support.

You may stop using Gladen at any time. You can request permanent account deletion from Profile in the app or through the account deletion page. Deletion is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Gladen intellectual property

Gladen's software, branding, design, documentation, and other service materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of Gladen's intellectual property to you.

You may use the Gladen app and service for their intended purpose while these Terms apply. You may not use Gladen branding in a way that falsely suggests sponsorship, endorsement, or ownership.

10. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Gladen is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Imported results, text read from screenshots, statistics, rankings, and other generated views can be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate and should be reviewed before you rely on them.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, guarantees, or other consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Gladen is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar losses arising from your use of the service, third-party result sources, or events outside Gladen's reasonable control.

Any limitation in these Terms applies only to the extent permitted by law and does not limit liability that cannot legally be limited.

12. Changes to these Terms

Gladen may update these Terms as the service changes. The current version will be published on this page. If a change materially affects your use of Gladen, additional notice will be provided when reasonably appropriate. Continuing to use the service after updated Terms take effect means the updated Terms apply, except where applicable law requires another form of consent.

13. Applicable law

These Terms operate subject to the laws and mandatory consumer protections that apply to you and to Gladen. Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.
